Founded in 1981, Fatehpuria Transformers & Switchgears has spent four decades
building a reputation for engineering that does not fail quietly. We design and
manufacture oil-immersed and dry-type transformers for utilities, manufacturing
plants, data centres, real-estate developers and solar independent power producers.
Every transformer that leaves our Jaipur works is tested to IS 2026 and IEC 60076
standards in our own laboratory. Type-tested designs, traceable materials,
CRGO silicon-steel cores, electrolytic-grade copper windings — the fundamentals
are not outsourced, and the specifications are not compromised.
We ship across India and to partners in Africa, South-East Asia and the Middle East.
The work is unglamorous; the consequences of getting it wrong are not.

From 10 kVA pole-mounts for rural distribution to 20 MVA solar inverter-duty units — each range is engineered, wound, and tank-assembled in-house.

Power Transformers
Oil-immersed units that step voltage up and down across transmission networks, minimising losses between substations without changing frequency.
Sealed, air-cooled designs with no insulating liquid — ideal for indoor installations, hospitals, high-rises and any environment where fire-load matters.
Pole-mounted and pad-type units for rural electrification, last-mile distribution and dedicated feeders — stepping voltage up or down on single-phase circuits.
Primary and secondary windings electrically separated — eliminating voltage spikes on supply lines that cause interruptions or damage sensitive equipment.
Purpose-built for utility-scale PV plants — withstanding continuous harmonic loading, frequent start-stop cycles and the thermal demands of inverter output.
Coil winding, core stacking, tank fabrication, vacuum oil-filling and full routine & type testing — all under one roof in Jaipur. Short feedback loops between the engineering desk and the workshop floor is how we keep the tolerances tight.
The laboratory is equipped with impulse generators, partial-discharge detectors,
short-circuit test rigs and calibrated precision instruments, all maintained under
an NABL-aligned calibration schedule. Every unit leaves with its own test certificate.
